The Lebanon Soccer Club (LSC) is an established organization of volunteers dedicated to the development of appreciation for
the competition and sportsmanship in our youth through the game of soccer. The Lebanon Soccer Club Board of Directors
is now accepting requests for consideration from LSC Alum graduating June 2024 to apply for this scholarship of $250.00.

Criteria for Consideration:

1.     Applicants must have participated in the LSC program for a minimum of 3 years as a player, referee, coach, or other volunteer.

2.     Applicants must provide proof of acceptance to an institute of higher education with the intent to further their education beyond high school.

3.     Obtain one letter of recommendation, preferably from an individual involved in your soccer career.

4.     Provide a list of extracurricular activities.

5.     Include a one-page essay describing the following: The importance of the availability of youth sports in the community; How do you plan to support youth sports in the future and; What is more important – playing or playing to win.

Essay must include at the top of page 1: Your name, Address, Phone Number, past Lebanon Soccer Club participation, and where you plan to further your education.

The above criteria must be submitted in its entirety to the Lyman Memorial High School Guidance Office (either in person, or via email to [email protected]) by Monday, May 6, 2024. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Thank you for your contributions within our soccer community.
